Josh Daniel, a hopeful on X Factor, nearly chose a different song for his audition, and he might go down in history as the performer that brought Simon Cowell to tears.
Having a Conversation with the Mirror Josh’s friend Covell, who made it to the ITV series’ judges’ houses in 2014, disclosed that he had his eye on a different song but decided to sing Jealous after seeing it performed for her and friend Liv Quantrill.
Josh was supposed to sing Nathan Sykes’ “Kiss Me Quick,” recalls.
“I don’t think that’s the song,” Liv said to us in the dancing studio. Which other songs would you recommend?
But the two were able to convince him otherwise after witnessing a performance in which he sang while kneeling on the ground.
