Franklin’s “Think” was the song that the seventh-grader, who is a regular member of her school choir, selected to play when she made her appearance in a preview for the episode that will air on Tuesday.
On the other hand, the main judge, Simon Cowell, interrupted her performance in the middle of it because he felt that the background track did not fit her voice.
Ansley was first put off by Simon’s suggestion that she try singing the song a cappella instead, which caused her to feel anxious.
Simon shown his generosity by bringing her a cup of water, and with the encouragement of the crowd and the judges, she was able to muster the bravery to perform without the accompaniment of music.
Both Julianne Hough and Gabrielle Union sprang up and applauded in acknowledgment of her solo performance, which left the judges in a state of awe.
